![]() Get this from a library! Handbook of solar radiation data for India, 1980. [Anna Mani;]. The National Solar Radiation Database (NSRDB) provides extensive solar radiation information as well as meteorological data. Australian Solar Radiation Data Handbook and Software. The 4th Edition of the Australian Solar Radiation Data Handbook (ASRDH) and the corresponding software AUSOLRAD are available. ASRDH provides suitable solar data for teachers, researchers, users and designers of various types of solar systems for many locations around Australia. Magazines Papers School Info Kits Toys the Australian Solar Radiation Data Handbook (ASRDH) Electronic Book on CD Product Details: The purpose of the Australian Solar Radiation Data Handbook (ASRDH) is to provide suitable data for teachers, researchers, users and designers of various types of solar systems for many locations around Australia. The data used for this handbook is derived from raw data from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) - real time sets of half hourly global and diffuse irradiation measurements taken on the horizontal plane. This handbook is particularly useful in that all the data used are statistical values (means and frequencies of occurrence) that account for the reduction, particularly in beam radiation, caused by actual cloud conditions. Also available with the Australian Solar Radiation Data Handbook is AUSOLRAD (AUStralian SOLar RADitation), a computer program based on the computing algorithms used in the handbook. It incorporates the best current solar irradiation data for 28 locations around Australia. Recently rewritten in VB.NET for MS-Windows, AUSOLRAD is for those who want the flexibility of surface orientation and tilt to assess real designs that, for whatever reason, cannot be constructed to the ideal geometries that are tabulated in the Handbook itself. Each CD is tailored to meet your particular requirements. State Groups. ![]() Solar radiation, or the electromagnetic energy emitted by the sun, can be captured and converted into useful forms of energy such as heat and electricity. The success of any solar energy installation depends largely on the availability of solar radiation at that location, making detailed knowledge of solar resource data critical for planning and siting. In the effort to make such data easily accessible, NCEI, the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the Northeast Regional Climate Center, and several universities and companies collaborated to create the National Solar Radiation Database (NSRDB). Since 1992, the NSRDB has provided solar planners and designers, building architects and engineers, renewable energy analysts, and countless others with extensive solar radiation information. • In 2012, the team, led by NREL, updated the National Solar Radiation Database (NSRDB) to its latest version containing data from 1991 through 2010. The 1991–2010 database builds on the previous 1991–2005 NSRDB and contains data for over 1,500 stations across the United States.
